That looks delicious. I do not have a slow cooker. Have you tried any other methods?
You could do this on the stove top, just cook the onions in the butter for a bit first, then add the rest and stir regularly whilst cooking gently with the lid on. It would be ready within an hour I think. Or you could do it in a covered casserole dish in a low oven for an hour or so.
Now on my Boxing Day menu! I am going to give it a try. Thank you!
