I just realised I’ve not updated the blog for ages. I’ve been busy taking photos for other projects and getting involved with the Carnival.
Here are some of the things I have picked, cooked, eaten, witnessed and photographed over the last couple of weeks.
The garden is growing at full tilt.
Luckily my obsession with Cavalo Nero continues.
There has been much shelling of peas and beans,
I even got the boy in on the act.
They make you feel healthy just looking at ’em.
Even the beetroots are ready.
I’ve spatchcocked a few chickens along the way.
Ernie took an interest when we were shooting the strawberry and elderflower sorbets.
We saw some funny duckys that I wanted to take home.
We even went to a lovely tea party.
Lots of summery stuff in general.
Who said England can’t do Summer?
It’s just a case of making hay while the sun shines.
P.S. It’s raining now.
Carnival Montage to follow soon…

Lovely pics!
The garden harvest has begun for us too – fun isn’t it?

It’s a lovely, crazy time. We managed to have the chicken with everything from the garden, beetroot salad, peas, broad beans, baby yellow courgettes, garlic and herbs, even elderflower cordial and sorbet. Fab.
