Bluebell Woods

Posted on May 12, 2010

I was asked to tag along on with the school kids yesterday to our local woods. We set off first thing and it looked like we had lucked out with a sunny morning.

The children were tasked with writing about the outdoors and finding similes, rhymes and alliteration.

Some of them set about the task very seriously,

or decided they wanted to work alone.

Some went primal and collected sticks, or built dens.

Generally they loved romping about on tree trunks,

…or telling the time with Dandelion clocks.

Then we went home.

The end.
