Now you know me, I don’t usually do the ‘giveaway’ thing. But to say thank you for taking part in the ‘Coffee, Set, Match’ competition Lavazza has sent us something to offer you all.
Two tickets to the Henley Festival for Wednesday 7th July for Sting!
The prize includes:
- 2 tickets and badges for Sting (includes 6 timetabled events)
- Pre-allocated seating, grandstand tickets
- 1 car park pass
- 1 vouchers for a souvenir programme

We will have to be quick though as it’s only next week and we need to get the tickets posted out to you. So tell us by noon on Sunday (TOMORROW!) 1st July the best thing YOU have made recently.
It might be a cardboard Olympic Torch, a delicious cake or just a really good cup of coffee. Leave us a comment below and let us know what it was, or answer with a Tweet and we will Retweet to our followers.
All we ask is that you are able to attend the Henley Festival on Wednesday and that you post a couple of photos to show us what it was like. It sounds like an amazing event and we have been offered the tickets as Lavazza is one of the sponsors this year.
Below is a little more information, but you can also have a look at the Henley Festival Website and check out everything that is going on, and also see that these tickets are SOLD OUT…and cost around £150 each.
Get commenting, there’s no time to waste!

Henley Festival is an extraordinary and elegant mix of music, art, culture, dining and location – the most magical summer event in the United Kingdom.
The week after the Regatta and lasting 5 nights an event full of contrasting performances on whichever night they attend – the best in classical music, jazz, opera, comedy, dance, street theatre, rock and firework spectaculars like you’ve never experienced them before.
As always, one ticket gives access to up to six timetabled events each night (as well as the visual art galleries and ad hoc street theatre fun) and access to a choice of bars, eateries and a wide range of top quality catering concessions.
Sipping champagne overlooking the water whilst enjoying the Festival’s sights and sounds – designer evening wear, banks of flowers, extraordinary sculptures, swirling lights and the sight of a hundred candle lit dinner parties taking place on the boats on the river will provide lasting memories.
Taking place between 4 and 8 July 2012, this glorious Black Tie event is now one of the biggest, best-established and best-loved Arts Festivals in the country.
With its wonderful range of entertainment in a breathtaking setting on the banks of the River Thames and with some of the best wining and dining seen at any Festival, Henley Festival makes for a highly glamorous party not to be missed, with stars on stage and in the audience, too!

Hiya, oh my gosh I would love to see Sting at Henley. I can imagine I am in my twenties again. The best thing I made recently was a seasonal cherry and almond Traybake, made to my mum’s awesome Polish fail safe recipe. The whole lot got scoffed in one sitting with friends. Keeping fingers crossed. Thanks for hosting the giveaway. It’s a slippery slope, you know?!

Best of luck! I did make an outrageous lemon buttermilk ice cream that topped a mixed berry hazelnut tart BUT i’m in America right now so those tickets do me no good. I hope at least you guys are going? I imagine Sting to be great in concert.
