My Teacher Mrs Brookes sets us homework every week. She gives us one word and we can do what we want with it.
This week the word was ‘Green’. I wanted to do some painting so I got Dad to spray over an old canvas with his new paint sprayer.
First I drawed squiggles all over it. Next I made some different greens with paint and I coloured in every shape that the squiggles made. When it was dry I went over the lines with a pen. Eventually I had a painting.
I call it Green Explosion.

What a lovely idea for using the word ‘green’ – I am sure the painting will be treasured. A lovely talking point to hang on the wall … and is that a face with two eyes and a long nose I see in the middle?! You never know what is in the shapes with these type of paintings. Well done, George!

As Deb says, I really like the look of concentration you’ve captured on G’s face in the first 2 pictures(and your dog looking out the window in the background). Great painting George.
